SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP LEAF PICK UP

The Department of Public Services will tentatively begin collecting leaves the week of October 24TH and will run for 8 weeks, weather permitting.

To ensure efficient collection, please comply with the following:

  • Rake leaves into rows along the edge of the curb and NOT into the street.
  • Do not mix grass, trash, branches, stones, or other materials that could hamper the collection.
  • We will NOT collect leaves if they are not accessible. i.e. (behind cars, mailboxes, or utility poles).

 

Leaves are NOT collected at the following:

  • Apartment complexes
  • Mobile home parks
  • Private subdivisions
  • All private roads
